What data we collect and why
Directory listings
We hold publicly available business information on podiatry and chiropody practices listed in our directory, including practice names, addresses, phone numbers, and website URLs. This data is collected from publicly available sources for the legitimate purpose of operating a professional directory. If you are a listed practitioner and wish to update or remove your information, please contact us at sarah@ukpodiatrists.co.uk.
Account registration
If you register an account to claim or manage your listing, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored encrypted). This data is used solely to manage your listing and is retained for as long as your account is active.
Contact forms
If you submit an enquiry via a contact form, we collect your name and email address to respond to your message. This data is not shared with third parties and is retained for 12 months.
Email marketing
We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to manage email communications. If you sign up to receive updates, your name and email address are stored securely by Brevo. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. Brevo’s privacy policy is available at brevo.com.
